There is no doubt that I have a weakness for certain terrains: I love couloirs and rocky slopes. Beside their beauty, they have in common that you usually have to skin up to get there, if you don't want to find them in "la Grave"-conditions full of moguls.
This year I was able to ski lots of lines of that type, so in Pitztal (Austria), Passo del Tonale (Italy), Silvretta (Switzerland/Austria) and at home in Engelberg Valley. The best time to ski this kind of lines is often later in the season, so March and April are often a good choice.
