The Urner Haute Route starts in Andermatt, from where you walk towards north over several mountain ranges and finally ends in Engelberg. The whole trip lasts 5 to 7 days, depending on the exact itinerary you pick. This March I guided a group of seven Swedish guests on this fantastic ski traverse. Unfortunately the Foehn (southern wind in the Alps) was quite strong during our trip, so powder was hard to found. Because of this we changed our planed itinerary and found finally some good spring and powder skiing.
